IonianACM
IonianACM
The Association for Computing Machinery, or ACM, was founded in 1947 as the world's first scientific and educational computing society. ACM serves both professional and public interests by fostering the open interchange of information, and by promoting the highest professional and ethical standards.
The petition for recognition of Ionian ACM Student Chapter was created and submitted by Michail Giannakos in March 2011, with Ass. Prof. Panagiotis Vlamos as sponsoring faculty members and Ilias Pappas and Maria Psiha as the first members and officers.
IonianACM is Ionian University's student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery. Working with the Department of Informatics, we organize talks, social events and workshops.
